ABOUT ME

Coltrane is currently a rising senior at the University of Michigan’s School of Music, studying at the esteemed Performing Arts Technology program with a concentration in the visual arts. At the university, he works as the lead student editor for the Duderstadt Center Video Studio. He is responsible for editing both promotional content for the university and client projects for the studio. At the Duderstadt Center, he also frequently works as a studio assistant, technical director, camera operator, and lighting technician.

Coltrane has recently started to work freelance post-production for a variety of media projects, with a specialization in video editing and sound design. He also has considerable experience with color correction, media management, and conforming/media compression.

In terms of personal projects, Coltrane has been composing and mixing electronic music for years under the name “Caly3r” and intends to continue producing music, hence his degree in sound. Coltrane also has years of experience as an actor and performer, and is very willing/able to step into multiple roles of the production process given his experience.
